Isabella Pacinelli

Bella has had a love of writing and women’s magazines since she was a teen, and it became her dream to combine these elements in her career. She majored in Digital Media Journalism at Ashland University. During her time there, she wrote for the award-winning newspaper, The Collegian, and was promoted to Features Editor within two years. She weaved storytelling with women’s issues, covering topics like eating disorders, mental health, and wellness.

Upon graduation, she accepted a job at a marketing agency where she learned the value of advertising, copywriting, and reaching a target audience. After making the decision to move back to her hometown, Bella felt directionless in achieving her career goals. That is, until she had a conversation with a woman who encouraged her to start her own women’s magazine. She has spent the entirety of 2025 working towards this goal.

Bella is passionate about creating authentic spaces for women, and Butterfly encompasses her love of vulnerable storytelling. Offline, you can find her reading something romantic, practicing yoga, spending time with friends, or talking with her therapist.
